Quality of flour would be maintained at all cost and strict action would be taken against those involved in adulteration and storage of flour. Punjab Food Minister Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal stated this while presiding over a high level meeting here on Thursday.

He said that every step was being taken for the provision of flour to people at cheaper rates, and added: "The government is taking concrete steps in this regard."

According to him, the government has already issued directions to the district governments and the District Co-ordination Officers (DCOs) to take stringent action against hoarders and profiteers.
